Senior Full Stack Developer – Healthcare / Digital Health | Ontario, Canada | Hybrid Confidential Public Sector Search Stafingo is hiring for their public sector client in Ontario for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer – Healthcare to support a large-scale digital health modernization initiative. This is a confidential search. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable healthcare applications and interoperability services supporting provider and healthcare service discovery, data integration, and modern digital health workflows. The role requires strong hands-on expertise across Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, AWS, FHIR, healthcare interoperability, REST APIs, and cloud-native architecture, with particular emphasis on healthcare data platforms and provider directory solutions. Position: Senior Full Stack Developer – Healthcare Employment Type: Contract Start Date: August 31, 2026 Contract Term: 164 business days Location: Ontario – Hybrid, onsite as required Public Sector Experience: Must Have Pay Range: $85/hr T4 – $100/hr INC (depending on skills and experience) Submission Deadline: Wednesday, August 5, 2026 @ 4:00 PM About the Role : The Senior Full Stack Developer will work on a complex healthcare technology modernization program focused on improving digital provider and healthcare service discovery, interoperability, data integration, and intelligent search capabilities. You will design and deliver enterprise-grade backend services, APIs, integrations, and user interfaces while working closely with architecture, data, interoperability, security, operations, and business teams. The ideal candidate has deep healthcare interoperability experience and can work across FHIR, HL7, SMART on FHIR, AWS healthcare services, FHIR repositories, provider data, master data management, and enterprise search. Key Responsibilities : ▪ Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise backend services using Java and Spring Boot ▪ Develop modern web interfaces using React and TypeScript for provider search, administration, and healthcare service functionality ▪ Design and implement secure RESTful and FHIR APIs supporting healthcare information exchange ▪ Develop and configure FHIR repositories, transactions, validation, search, and interoperability services ▪ Build integrations between healthcare applications, provider data platforms, master data systems, and external healthcare systems ▪ Implement healthcare interoperability using FHIR R4/R4B, HL7v2, SMART on FHIR, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT ▪ Develop secure authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and API security capabilities ▪ Design and implement advanced provider and healthcare service search using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch ▪ Develop data synchronization, transformation, validation, and governance services for provider, practitioner, organization, location, specialty, and healthcare service information ▪ Build event-driven integrations using AWS messaging and integration services such as EventBridge, SNS, and SQS ▪ Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS services including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager ▪ Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, data models, queries, and application performance ▪ Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and production support ▪ Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews ▪ Troubleshoot production issues and support releases, deployments, monitoring, and operational stability ▪ Develop API Experience implementing secure SMART on FHIR applications and backend services ▪ Experience with highly available AWS architectures ▪ Experience implementing monitoring, logging, auditing, and
