Position Summary The Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to support the modernization and expansion of Virtual Care Products. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare technology, with expertise in SMART on FHIR, HL7v2, ReactJS, Java Spring Boot, and healthcare system integrations, including Epic, Cerner, and MEDITECH. This role focuses on developing secure and scalable virtual care applications, integrating video platforms such as Zoom and Pexip, supporting clinical workflows, and enabling standards-based interoperability across healthcare systems. Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 7 years of ReactJS development experience building enterprise-grade web applications.Minimum 10 years of experience with Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot, including backend services, APIs, integrations, and database-driven applications.Minimum 5 years of experience integrating Zoom and Pexip APIs into enterprise applications.Strong experience with HL7v2 interfaces, FHIR APIs, clinical workflow integration, scheduling and encounter integration, and healthcare interoperability standards.Experience integrating React applications with Java/Spring Boot microservices, external APIs, Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, and healthcare integration services.Experience working with NetIQ workflows or enterprise IAM workflows.Experience developing secure, scalable, and auditable healthcare applications.Previous public sector experience is required. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain ReactJS frontend components supporting Virtual Care Products.Build and support Java/Spring Boot backend services, APIs, and integration components.Integrate Zoom and Pexip capabilities into patient, provider, and administrative workflows.Develop virtual care functionality, including waiting rooms, session routing, provider handoffs, breakout workflows, and multi-party clinical encounters.Design, implement, and support HL7v2 and FHIR integrations related to scheduling, patient and provider context, encounters, and virtual visits.Support NetIQ and identity-enabled workflows.Participate in the modernization and replacement of legacy applications and services.Collaborate with architecture, security, quality assurance, operations, and product teams.Develop APIs, data access layers, message processing services, and operational support components.Support AWS OpenSearch integrations where applicable.Prepare technical, deployment, and support documentation.Participate in testing, release activities, and production implementations. Desired Skills Experience with Virtual Care and Telemedicine workflows.Experience developing SMART on FHIR applications.Experience with Pexip configuration, video bridge programming, and video workflow implementation.Experience building Java Spring Boot microservices within healthcare environments.Experience with AWS OpenSearch.Knowledge of privacy, security, accessibility, and audit logging practices.Experience with operational monitoring and analytics. Additional Information This is a hybrid position with onsite attendance requirements as determined by the Hiring Manager.The selected resource must reside and work within Ontario.An Agency-issued laptop will be provided.The resource must maintain a private home office with a hard-wired internet connection and appropriate peripherals, including an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse.Agency assets may not be removed from Ontario without prior written approval.Full knowledge transfer and supporting documentation are required at the conclusion of the engagement.
