As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will operate like an internal consultant and builder rolled into one, embedded directly within our business units. You'll have the autonomy to pinpoint inefficiencies and drive the development of solutions, whether you're building from scratch or integrating with current platforms. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role where your initiative directly shapes how LHV operates, helping us stay fast, lean, and uniquely innovative. What You'll Do Partner directly with business units to understand their daily work and find practical ways to solve their bottlenecksTranslate business needs into simple, secure, and automated workflowsDeploy solutions safely within our infrastructure, making sure they comply with our security and data standardsCollaborate with data owners to connect your tools smoothly with our existing databases and systemsHelp develop, monitor, and scale our central internal technology platform to keep it stable and secureGuide and train business team members on how to safely use our internal toolsTrack the performance and business impact of the solutions you buildDocument your work clearly and ensure every solution has a designated owner and a smooth support path What We're Looking For Solid experience in software engineering, with a focus on writing clean, readable, and maintainable codeHands-on experience building custom AI solutions, working with APIs, or setting up open-source interfacesA realistic, practical approach to technology, using AI as a tool to solve real business problems rather than chasing the hypeComfort with ambiguity and the ability to take a vague idea, ask the right questions, and define clear metricsAbility to handle multiple tasks and switch contexts smoothlyGreat communication and critical thinking skillsFamiliarity with AWS or similar environments is a plusProficiency in Estonian language is preferred WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE Build something that lasts long after you've moved onWork with ambitious colleagues who value innovation and move fastEnjoy the freedom to experiment and the ownership to build real impactGrow professionally and personally through meaningful opportunities THE FUTURE WE'RE BUILDING Banking has been ugly, slow and impersonal for too long.
