Join us and build scalable software with real impact We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Java Developer with a strong backend focus to join our Tracking team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will primarily work with backend services and APIs, while also contributing to frontend development as part of a modern fullstack engineering team. You will help build reliable, secure, and scalable solutions in a cloud-based environment, with AWS and Kubernetes as important parts of our technical landscape. Tracking is a growing product area with high expectations on availability, quality, security, and delivery speed. As part of the team, you will play an important role in both product development and operational excellence. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our growing use of AI — both in customer-facing capabilities and in how we improve our engineering workflows. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring BootContribute to frontend development using Eclipse RCP, and work in an environment that also includes Angular or ReactDevelop and operate solutions in AWSContribute to the evolution of Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native delivery practicesHelp ensure production readiness through monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvementApply secure software engineering practices, including secure coding, dependency management, and access control patternsCollaborate on AI-related initiatives, such as exploring AI-enabled product functionality, integrating AI/ML services where relevant, and using AI tools to improve development efficiencyWork closely with product, QA, and other engineering colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions that create customer valueParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rotation approximately one week every 6–8 weeks What We Are Looking For Solid senior-level experience in software development with Java, preferably Spring BootExperience in frontend development with Eclipse RCP, and willingness to work in an environment that also includes Angular or ReactExperience working in production environments on AWSExperience with containerized applications, cloud-native development, and/or Kubernetes-based delivery pipelinesGood working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or supporting servicesStrong experience with Linux, including debugging and operational troubleshootingA quality-focused and ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to take solutions from development to productionCuriosity about AI and interest in understanding how it can be used in a practical and valuable way It’s a plus if you also have Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, troubleshooting, or HelmExperience with observability practices such as metrics, logs, tracing, and reliability/SLO thinkingExperience building or integrating AI/ML-enabled functionalityKnowledge of secure development practices and vulnerability remediationExperience working in complex systems with multiple integrations Our team You will be part of a team where backend engineering is central, but fullstack collaboration is a natural part of everyday work.
