As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Cards Team, you will help ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical technology services.
Working closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams, you will build and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions, improve observability, and drive automation across the technology landscape.
Through proactive monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement, you will play a key role in enhancing system resilience and delivering a reliable experience for both customers and colleagues.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Develop software and infrastructure solutions to automate processes and improve efficiency and reliability for DevOps, ITOps, and support teams, while building and managing cloud-based infrastructure on AWSDesign, build, and maintain reliable software systemsImplement and maintain observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting across critical servicesDefine, measure, and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets to ensure service reliability targets are metParticipate in incident response, on-call rotations, and service restoration activities for critical production systemsConduct post-incident reviews and implement remediation actionsLead root cause analysis of system failures and implement strategies to prevent future incidentsIdentify and eliminate operational toil through automation and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with development teams to improve system scalability, performance, resilience, and operational readinessDevelop software and infrastructure solutions to automate processes and improve efficiency and reliability for DevOps, ITOps, and support teams, while building and managing infrastructure on AWS and on premise systemsDrive the adoption of SRE best practices within the organizationDocument best practices and lessons learned
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performanceAWS Proficiency: Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) with hands-on experience in constructing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on the AWS platformInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt, as well as CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, essential for managing and automating infrastructure deployments and updatesContainerization Technologies: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, particularly with managing applications hosted within Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, necessary for developing automation scripts to streamline manual processes and improve efficiencyExperience in cards domain is considered beneficialFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level

2,750-4,780 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
