Senior Full Stack Engineer - Services Technology

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll architect and develop large-scale web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. You'll own applications end-to-end, working full stack and contributing to a robust technology ecosystem Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be part of a larger engineering team working on highly integrated applications in a fast-paced environment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Design and Product, to design and develop complex, distributed, high-quality solutions with tight deadlines. You must demonstrate a decisive leadership mindset, as approximately 30% of this role is dedicated to managing and directing teams of contractors to ensure project success and delivery excellence. Responsibilities Guide the technical direction and implementation of complex features spanning frontend interfaces (React, Vue, or server-rendered templates) and Python and PHP backend servicesDesign scalable APIs, data models, and service architectures — including internal MCP servers that expose tools and data to AI systemsDrive features through their full lifecycle: from concept and design through deployment and operational excellenceApply and help raise engineering best practices across the full stack — frontend architecture, API design, testing strategies, and performanceIdentify technical risks and dependencies early; develop mitigation strategies and drive resolutionMentor and share knowledge with colleagues across both frontend and backend disciplinesContribute to cross-organization initiatives, expanding your impact beyond the immediate teamPartner with product managers and stakeholders to inform roadmap priorities and technical directionLead post-incident reviews and drive improvements in reliability and operational qualityEvaluate and integrate AI services and capabilities — such as MCP-based tooling — to enhance the user experienceContribute to hiring: interview candidates, calibrate the technical bar across the stack Minimum Qualifications Demonstrate deep hands-on expertise in Java, or Node.js, and frontend Javascript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.Solid proficiency in using SQL or NoSQL Databases.Strong experience in designing and developing microservices and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).Extensive experience utilizing Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP), and CloudServices (e.g, functions/lambdas) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Knowledge of containerization concepts like Kubernetes, Docker and others.Experience with DevOps process automation using Terraform, Pulumi, or alternatives.Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks (e.g.JUnit). Experience working with distributed, global teams.Experience working with observability and monitoring systems such as Dynatrace orDataDog. Experience working in highly integrated systems.Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work andsolve problems independently.
