Description

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a R&D Product Developer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in East Hanover, NJ. Details for the position are as follows: Job Description: Pay Rate is up to $33.00 dollars per hour 8.5 Month Long Contract Lead and coordinate product development and commercialization projects with R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Marketing teams. Plan and execute pilot plant and factory trials while ensuring GMP and HACCP compliance. Support ingredient troubleshooting, product optimization, shelf-life studies, and consumer test preparation. Communicate project status, risks, and technical findings to internal stakeholders and senior leadership. Collaborate closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams throughout development activities. Ability to travel 25-40%. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science required; Master's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing or product development. Experience in the biscuit, bakery, or snacking industry is highly preferred. Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, product commercialization, and food processing. Experience leading pilot plant and factory trials, including ingredient troubleshooting, is highly preferred. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP. Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
