The job holder will own the technical direction for the healthcare system and lead its implementation.
The role combines architecture judgement with current hands-on engineering ability.
Responsibilities
Define, maintain and communicate the technical architecture for business-critical applications, including system boundaries, integration patterns, non-functional requirements and technology standards.Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing enhancement of .NET applications, APIs and web frontends.Set standards for code quality, testing, security, documentation and AI-assisted development.Establish CI/CD and safe release practices by designing build, test and deploy pipelines with approvals, environment controls and release evidence.Guide database, API, cloud and integration design.Review and approve high-risk technical changes, lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex incidents, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and documented.Communicate technical decisions, risks and trade-offs to stakeholders.Mentor the team members to facilitate the development and implementation.Assist with covers, audits and any duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or a related discipline7 – 10+ years relevant working experience in IT/ software engineering Strong in engineering foundations, script programming/form design (e.g.
C#, .NET web applications and APIs; JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React)Strong SQL and database design: transactions, data integrity, controlled schema changePractical AWS and Azure: hosted applications, identity, storage, networking, managed servicesKnowledge on applying secure coding practices and using AI coding tools productively in real delivery, with human review, testing, and data controlsGood language command of English and Chinese.
Mandarin and/ or any other languages will be a plusExcellent Observability and Communication skills and ability to work as a team playerDetail-minded, proactive and keen to learnGenuine Passion and Enthusiasm to work as a Technical Teammate of the OT&P Circle of Care
