Actusmart is an innovative technology company based in Slovakia, developing intelligent software solutions for electric actuators and automation systems.
Our products combine embedded technology, connectivity, diagnostics, and modern software applications to make actuator systems easier to configure, monitor, and maintain.
To support the further development of our application platform, we are looking for a motivated Software Engineer – Multiplatform Application Development to strengthen our team.
Your Tasks
As a Software Engineer, you will help develop and improve our Android and multiplatform application used for actuator configuration, diagnostics, monitoring, and service support.
Develop and maintain Android and multiplatform applications for industrial actuator systems.Work on both frontend and backend components of the application.Implement user-friendly interfaces for parameterization, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and device information.Develop reliable communication between the application, backend services, and connected devices.Support offline functionality, data storage, synchronization, and secure data handling.Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and product teams to integrate actuator-specific functions.Optionally contribute to AR-based features for visualization, service support, or guided troubleshooting.Improve performance, stability, usability, and maintainability of the application.Participate in testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement of the software platform.
Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in Android development and/or multiplatform application development.Good knowledge of frontend and backend development concepts.Strong experience in Android or multiplatform application development.
Additional experience with C, C++ or Python is highly valued, especially for communication with embedded devices, backend development, diagnostics, or industrial software integration.Understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, and data synchronization.Interest in industrial applications, connected devices, IoT, or automation systems.Experience or interest in Augmented Reality (AR) technologies is an advantage.Structured, solution-oriented way of working with high attention to quality.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.Good communication skills in English; Slovak or German is an advantage.
