Lead with impact You will contribute to modernizing IT delivery through more effective, automated, and collaborative approaches supporting technical teams and business-critical services. With a cross-functional scope across development, operations, and cloud, this role suits a technically strong, pragmatic profile able to improve the delivery lifecycle. Over time, it may evolve into broader technical coordination responsibilities. We are looking for a senior professional with a strong automation mindset to join the IT team as Senior DevOps Engineer, reporting to the Head of IT Change Control at the Company’s Headquarters in Genoa, Italy. Support the evolution of the DevOps framework through CI/CD pipelines and release management for complex, multi-team environments. Improve operational automation to increase speed, quality, repeatability, and accelerate software delivery. Standardize the DevOps toolchain to improve consistency, deployment quality, and reduce manual work. Support release modernization, faster time to market, post-deployment monitoring, rollback procedures, incident prevention, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to improve integration, delivery, and service readiness. Promote best practices in deployment automation, release engineering, scripting, observability, and operational readiness. Improve workflows and tools to simplify technical teams’ work and increase delivery pipeline efficiency. What Makes You Unique At least 5 years’ experience in DevOps, automation, or release engineering in complex multinational environments. Proven experience designing and improving CI/CD pipelines and release processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Terraform or Azure DevOps, version control systems such as Git, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash; certifications are a plus. Fluent English and an inclusive, international mindset; additional languages are a plus. Strong analytical, diagnostic, planning, and problem-solving skills. A proactive, digitally skilled mindset focused on innovation, improvement opportunities, and performance bottlenecks. Familiarity with service management tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy, ITIL processes, and monitoring tools. A collaborative team player who inspires others to perform at their best.
