We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to strengthen the Risk Management team.
In this role, you will design and deliver high-quality software solutions, mentor developers, and drive technical excellence.
As part of the B2B Belgium Business Platform, you’ll join a dynamic team of around 180 professionals—125 focused on business and 60 on IS and Data—dedicated to serving B2B customers in Belgium with innovative energy solutions.
Your Challenges:
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and align solutions with business goals.
Design and implement scalable Java applications following best practices.
Lead development of critical components and ensure timely delivery.
Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning.
Maintain high code quality through reviews and testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring system reliability.
Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with teams.
Stay current with Java technologies and introduce innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in:Java 11/17Spring Framework (v5+), Spring MVCREST API design and microservices architectureFront-end frameworks (Vue.js preferred), responsive HTML/CSSHands-on experience with cloud deployments (Microsoft Azure/Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
