We are seeking a experienced Site Supervisor to support field operations on commercial interior construction projects in Williams Lake, BC.
The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Williams Lake or relocate for the duration of the project.
This position reports directly to the Interior BC District Manager and plays a key role in coordinating daily site activities, supervising subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring construction progresses safely and efficiently.
Role Summary
The Site Supervisor serves as the primary field authority responsible for all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in strict alignment with construction documents and sequencing requirements.
This position requires a supervisor capable of running complex interior construction site under the directions of the District Manager, coordinating multiple trades simultaneously, and maintaining complete control of scheduling, logistics, and field quality across all phases of construction.
Successful candidate must be willing to travel to Williams Lake or be open to relocation for the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily on-site execution of commercial interior construction projects from base building shell through full tenant fit-outDirect and coordinate subcontractors across all construction disciplinesEnforce proper sequencing across all building systems including:Structural and non-structural framingElectrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systemsMedical gas and specialized healthcare infrastructure where applicableDrywall assemblies, acoustic ceilings, millwork, glazing, and architectural finishesCoordinate complex multi-trade installations within active or occupied environmentsIdentify potential conflicts between trades early and implement solutions before schedule impactMaintain tight control over site sequencing, access routes, staging areas, and material logisticsCoordinate material procurement and delivery scheduling to align with construction progressMaintain strict quality standards across all phases of constructionEnforce site safety policies and ensure full compliance with WorkSafeBC regulationsMaintain organized, professional job sites with strong housekeeping standardsSupport inspections and ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and applicable codesCommunicate regularly with project management regarding schedule progress, risks, and site requirementsRequired Experience
7+ years of experience in commercial constructionDemonstrated experience delivering complete interior buildouts from shell conditionPrevious experience as Senior Site Supervisor, Superintendent, or Lead ForemanExperience with medium to large-scale commercial, institutional, or healthcare projectsStrong understanding of complex construction sequencing and multi-trade coordinationProven ability to independently run active job sites with minimal oversightStrong technical understanding of building systems and interior construction assembliesAbility to read and interpret detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedulesStrong leadership presence with clear communication and decision-making skillsExperience managing projects within operational healthcare or institutional environments is considered a strong assetAdditional Requirements
