We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join the engineering team at Notch, a full-service custom software development company, on our mission to deliver top-notch digital products for global enterprises and tech disruptors.
What will you do?
As a Senior Node.js Engineer, you will design and build scalable backend solutions powering modern digital products for global clients.
You will contribute to architecture decisions, solve complex engineering challenges, and own features from development to production.
Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScriptDevelop secure and scalable APIs with NestJS and/or ExpressDesign and optimize data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ORM toolsImplement authentication, integrations, and background workflowsEnsure high code quality through testing, clean architecture, and best practicesOwn features end-to-end, from implementation to deployment and production supportCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions

The Perfect Candidate For Senior Node.js Engineer
Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScriptExperience with NestJS and/or ExpressSolid knowledge of REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPIExperience with MongoDB and PostgreSQLExperience with ORMs and migration tools (Drizzle ORM, TypeORM, Liquibase, or similar)Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and clean code practicesExperience with DockerExperience implementing authentication systems (JWT, OAuth, RBAC)Comfortable owning solutions in production and working with international teams
