Trident Consulting is seeking a " Principal Project Engineer” for one of our clients in " St.
Louis, MO (onsite)” A global leader in business and technology services.

Pay rate: $90/hr to $97/hr on W2 (All inclusive)
Duration: 12+ Months
Key Requirements
Must have pharmaceutical/clean room experience.Brownfield project experience is highly preferred.Your Role
Provide senior-level project engineering and technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of life science projects.Lead project workstreams within large and/or complex projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.Collaborate with site, project, and construction teams to drive timely project decisions.Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks; implement solutions and escalate unresolved issues.Manage stakeholders within assigned areas and maintain active communication throughout the project.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process Engineering preferred).Minimum 15 years of experience in capital project execution and construction.Experience delivering life science capital projects, including clean room design/build, Grade C/D classified spaces, and qualification/validation processes.Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations, standards, and cGMP requirements.Strong leadership, relationship management, negotiation, and change management skills.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities in a matrix environment.Ability to influence without direct authority and drive project outcomes.Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into clear specifications.Ability to independently manage workstreams, schedules, project decisions, and documentation.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with consideration for safety, quality, budget, schedule, and risk.Experience reviewing construction submittals, RFIs, managing scope changes, and incorporating site feedback.Highly organized with the ability to establish effective project processes and workstream structures.Location Requirement
Must be located in St.
Louis, MO, or be able to travel and work onsite Monday–Friday (40 hours/week).
