Role Overview We are seeking a Staff Backend Engineer specializing in web-hosted services to develop and enhance backend architectures, including APIs, server-side logic, and data management systems. The role involves scaling web services that analyze and contextualize networks, collaborating on new feature development, integrating data sources, and improving analysis capabilities. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and version the web stack and codebaseShape operational deployment for government and industry usersCollaborate on data source integration and scalable solutionsPartner on cloudification, containerization, and application productizationReview solutions to ensure maintainability and extensibility Qualifications & Skills 2+ years (advanced degree) or 4+ years (bachelor’s) experience in backend/full-stack development3-5 years of backend experience with object-oriented languages like Golang or PythonProficiency in database systems (SQL/NoSQL), testing, packaging, and requirements managementNice-to-have: experience with APIs, open-source projects, Linux/Mac, Docker, cloud services, and team collaboration toolsEligibility for security clearances up to TS/SCI
