Site Reliability Engineer II | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid | Ireland Are you an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in production support, cloud technologies and observability? We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II to join a high-performing Business Operations team, helping ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of critical applications within a large global technology environment. Location: Ireland Working Model: Hybrid โ€“ 2 days per week in the office (Monday & Tuesday) Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension Start Date: ASAP What you'll be doing: Supporting the reliability, stability and performance of production applicationsMonitoring systems and responding to incidents and alertsTroubleshooting technical issues and carrying out root cause analysisSupporting high-availability and scalable systemsContributing to automation and scripting initiativesWorking with development and technical teams to improve operational readinessSupporting incident, problem and change management processesIdentifying opportunities for proactive monitoring and continuous improvement What we're looking for: Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support or a similar engineering roleStrong experience working with cloud environments, ideally AWSExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and/or DynatraceKnowledge of ITIL / ITSM processes, including incident, problem and change managementExperience with Linux/Unix environmentsScripting experience with Python, Bash or similarUnderstanding of DevOps practices, automation and CI/CDStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills Desirable experience: Previous experience working in a large enterprise or financial services environmentExperience with high-availability and fault-tolerant systemsDocker and KubernetesCI/CD pipelinesCapacity planning and performance optimisationExperience using AI tools to support automation and scripting If you're a hands-on SRE or Production Support Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and improving the reliability of critical systems, we'd love to hear from you.
