Backend Engineer

Responsibilities What You Will Do: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and data integrations.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.Improve and optimize existing systems for better performance and reliability.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to alerts proactively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.Participate in architectural discussions and propose innovative solutions for high-traffic environments.Contribute to post-mortem analyses and continuously improve system resilience Requirements Person We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable universityMinimum 3 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in efficient backend developmentProficiency in Java (is a must), or Go- Ability to dive deep and work across backend services, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and maintainabilityRESTful API design and developmentExperience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a PlusSecure coding standardEagerness to continuously learn whether it’s technology-related, product-related, or beyondA strong sense of ownership and accountability for both the product(s) and assigned tasks- Version control using Git; CI/CD pipeline experience testing and performance optimizationGood communication skills both written and verbal Full WFO at Wisma 46, Jakarta Pusat
