🚀 Platform Engineer / SRE
🤖 Client: Leading Quant Fund
💰 Salary: Up to £180,000 + bonus + strong package
📍 Location: London (Hybrid / Remote)
Looking to build and operate infrastructure that powers one of the world's leading quantitative trading firms?
My Client is hiring a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help design, build, and maintain highly scalable, resilient platforms that support mission-critical trading systems.
What You'll Be Doing
🔹Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure
🔹Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery
🔹Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions
🔹Build automation and self-service tooling
🔹Support containerised workloads and orchestration platforms across large-scale environments
🔹Improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of distributed systems, middleware etc.
Desired Skills:
✔️ Experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer
✔️ Strong knowledge of Linux systems and automation
✔️ Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
✔️ Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
✔️ Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
✔️ Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code
✔️ Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar)
✔️ Passion for building reliable, scalable, and highly available platforms
