Role location~ Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual) About The Role As a Cloud Engineer Lead, you will lead the design, delivery, and support of secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across Azure and AWS environments. You will help drive cloud connectivity, network security, and infrastructure automation that enable critical business and technology services. Working closely with security, infrastructure, application, and operations teams, you will solve complex networking challenges and improve platform reliability. Success in this role is measured by secure cloud adoption, operational excellence, automation outcomes, and service resilience. What You Will Be Doing Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud network architectures across Azure and AWS environmentsBuild and support secure cloud connectivity solutions, including routing, segmentation, and firewall integrationsManage and enhance network security controls using Palo Alto Networks technologies and related platformsDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform and automation best practicesCreate scalable, reusable cloud networking standards, templates, and deployment patternsPartner with application, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud servicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex network performance, connectivity, and security issuesImprove operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and continuous service improvement initiativesLead technical reviews and provide guidance on cloud networking strategy, governance, and architecture decisionsMentor engineers and contribute to technical capability development across the team What You Bring Demonstrated experience designing and supporting cloud networking solutions in Azure and AWS environmentsStrong knowledge of network architecture, routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network security principlesHands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls or comparable enterprise firewall platformsPractical experience using Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools to automate cloud infrastructureStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across distributed and complex cloud environmentsExperience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business stakeholdersAbility to lead technical initiatives and provide mentorship to engineering teamsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent skills-based experience Added Bonus If You Have Experience with Palo Alto Panorama, GlobalProtect, and cloud-native security integrationsKnowledge of ExpressRoute, VPN technologies, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and cloud DNS servicesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based infrastructure delivery practicesExperience developing reusable Terraform modules and enterprise cloud networking frameworksExperience working in financial services, highly regulated industries, or large-scale enterprise environmentsRelevant cloud, network, or security certifications What We Offer You At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
