Senior MuleSoft Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer on behalf of our client in Atlanta, GA.
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable APIs, integrating enterprise applications and cloud services, and delivering secure, high-quality solutions within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.Build and maintain API-led connectivity solutions, reusable services, and enterprise integration frameworks.Develop and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.Create and optimize data transformations using DataWeave, JSON, XML, and SQL.Integrate enterprise applications, databases, third-party platforms, and cloud-based services.Troubleshoot, enhance, and support production integrations to ensure reliability and performance.Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions.Implement API security standards, governance policies, and best practices.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of enterprise application development experience.4+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, API-led connectivity, JSON, and XML.Proficiency in DataWeave, SQL, and data transformation techniques.Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases, and cloud platforms.Strong development background in Java and/or .NET technologies.Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and production support skills.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) and/or MuleSoft Platform Architect certification.Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud integration solutions.Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery experience.Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.Knowledge of API security, governance, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and enterprise integration best practices.
