Site Reliability Engineer - Dynatrace

Role : Site Reliability Engineer - Dynatrace Type of role - Permanent Position Location : Sydney, Australia Job Description : Mandatory Skills: Mandatory Experience in Observability AND Dynatrace Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience in implementing monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize relational and non-relational databases for performance, scalability, and reliability. Lead and support database migration activities, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation. Perform query optimization, indexing strategies, and schema design improvements. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Collaborate with SREs and DevOps teams to ensure database reliability aligns with overall system health. Apply SRE golden rules to monitor any resources/Services Participate in incident response and contribute to blameless post-mortems for database-related issues. Support automation efforts to reduce manual database operations and improve efficiency.
