Python Developer – Banking Domain with ML/AI Expertise
Location: Poland (Tricity / Warsaw / Łódź - 3 days in the office)

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong banking domain knowledge and hands-on experience in machine learning / AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services and tools using Python.Develop data pipelines for ML/AI models, including feature engineering & preprocessing.Collaborate with data scientists on deploying ML/AI models into production.Integrate with banking systems, payment platforms, and financial messagingBuild secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security, and data governance standards.Optimize existing services for scalability and performance.Write clean, testable, well‑documented code.Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong Python proficiency (Flask, FastAPI, Django or similar).Solid experience in banking or financial services (payments, transaction flows, AML/FCP use cases, or similar).Understanding of Swift MT/MX, SEPA, ISO20022, or financial messaging frameworks.Experience with ML/AI pipelines, model serving, and MLOps concepts.Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and test automation.
Nice to Have
