DevOps Engineer

Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer 📍 London | Hybrid (2 days per week) 💰 £80k - £100k We're partnering with a high-performance technology company that builds mission-critical, cloud-native platforms used at significant scale. They're looking for a Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to help evolve their platform, improve automation, and support highly available production systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with plenty of variety. You'll work across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, security and platform reliability, collaborating closely with software engineers to build scalable, resilient systems. What you'll be doing Design, build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure.Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.Monitor production systems and continuously improve reliability, performance and observability.Strengthen security through effective secrets management and access controls.Investigate production incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.Work closely with engineering teams to optimise platform architecture and deployment processes.Mentor engineers and help shape infrastructure best practices. What we're looking for Strong commercial experience with AWS.Excellent Linux systems administration and networking knowledge.Hands-on Terraform experience.Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar).Experience supporting production environments and participating in incident response.Comfortable working across multiple areas of infrastructure and platform engineering in a collaborative environment.
