As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable backend solutions that power our furnishing contractor platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, drive architectural decisions, and deliver impactful features. Beyond coding, you will mentor engineers, promote engineering excellence, and contribute to building a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement. YOU WILL Own and deliver quarterly engineering goals while leading your team through complex, open-ended technical challengesCollaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts throughout the product development lifecycle, helping shape solutions by balancing technical constraints, risks, and business needsIdentify technical, process, and business improvement opportunities, advocate for change, and lead initiatives to address themEnsure the reliability and availability of your team's services by monitoring key metrics, supporting operational excellence, and participating in on-call rotationsDrive engineering best practices by improving code review processes, design standards, and promoting high-quality software development across teamsMentor and support fellow engineers by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and leading by example Requirements 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering large-scale backend systems using Python, Kotlin, or similar technologiesProven experience building highly available distributed systems using technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and SparkStrong system design skills with the ability to define technical solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and extensibleExperience working within large codebases, implementing significant changes safely through robust engineering practices and toolingA strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to personal and professional growth, including actively seeking and applying feedbackExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across globally distributed engineering teams Benefits Work flexibility We give you the opportunity to adjust your work to your lifestyle.
