Application Engineer

We're Hiring: Application Engineer | Remote (USA) Location: Atlanta, GA | San Antonio, TX | New York, NY (Flexible Remote) Travel Requirement: First week onsite at the EY office (Atlanta, San Antonio, or New York) for onboarding and project kickoff. We are seeking experienced application engineers to join a high-impact enterprise technology team. Key Responsibilities ✔️ Design, develop, test, deploy, optimize, and maintain enterprise application solutions. ✔️ Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. ✔️ Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices. ✔️ Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents. ✔️ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and PI planning. ✔️ Identify technical risks, dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies. ✔️ Communicate technical progress, blockers, and solution recommendations effectively. ✔️ Senior engineers will lead design discussions, mentor junior developers, support architecture decisions, and drive end-to-end solution delivery. Experience Required 🔹 5–7 Years: Strong application/software development experience with scalable application development, testing, troubleshooting, and Agile delivery. 🔹 7–10 Years: Advanced engineering expertise with complex solution delivery, stakeholder communication, mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable architecture. 🔹 15+ Years: Senior technical leadership with enterprise architecture experience, complex problem solving, mentoring, engineering governance, and recognized subject matter expertise.
