Software Engineer

Job Description Software Engineer (Backend-Leaning) | NYC We're partnering with a well-funded, early-stage AI startup that's building a product in one of the fastest-growing areas of AI. They're looking for a backend-leaning Software Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a real impact from day one. This is an opportunity to join a very small team, work directly with leadership, and own major parts of the product. What You'll Do Design, build, and ship core product features Own projects from concept through production Work closely with founders and customers to solve complex technical problems Help shape the product and engineering roadmap in a high-ownership environment Requirements 2-5 years of software engineering experience Strong experience with TypeScript and React Backend-leaning engineer with strong computer science fundamentals Previous startup experience is a plus Comfortable working in a small, high-performing team with a high degree of ownership Able to work 6 days per week (Sunday is a half day) Must be willing to work onsite in NYC Compensation Base salary: $150,000-$200,000 Equity included This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys moving quickly, building from scratch, and wants to be an early engineering hire with significant ownership.
