Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in Microsoft .NET, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), CAD platforms, and Microsoft Power BI to join our development team.
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that integrate with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and Zuken E3.
This role requires strong software development skills, experience with SDK/API integrations, database development, and a passion for building solutions that support engineering and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and automation scripts that integrate with AutoCAD and Zuken E3 using their SDKs/APIs.Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server database solutions, including database design, stored procedures, queries, and performance tuning.Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on business and operational requirements.Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Oracle Database, JSON, Excel, and other enterprise data sources.Develop solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to automate business processes.Support software version upgrades, application deployments, and post-deployment maintenance.Migrate legacy Excel VBA applications to .NET-based solutions.Assist in migrating legacy Microsoft Access databases to SQL Server.Ensure compliance with software validation, documentation, and configuration management standards.Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve functionality, reliability, and performance.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong experience with Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core (C# or VB.NET).Experience developing applications that integrate with AutoCAD, Zuken E3, or other CAD platforms.Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.Experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and DAX calculations.Hands-on experience with Power Query and integrating multiple data sources.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).Experience working with REST APIs, SDKs, and software integrations.Knowledge of Excel VBA and experience migrating VBA applications to .NET is highly preferred.Experience migrating Microsoft Access databases to SQL Server is a plus.Familiarity with source control, software deployment, and configuration management practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial automation environment.Knowledge of software validation and quality management processes.Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.Experience working with Oracle databases is an added advantage.
