WhyBrilliant is sourcing applicants for this role on behalf of a fast-growing, Berlin-based AI energy technology startup. Take over product ownership directly from the founders at a fast-growing, Berlin-based energy technology startup and build the AI-native interface between industrial enterprises and European energy markets. Why this role matters We are hiring our first dedicated product person to take the reins from our founders and scale our B2B energy products. Without you, we cannot accelerate the deployment of our AI-native workflows that help industrial enterprises navigate complex virtual balancing circles, optimize BESS algorithms, and maintain ISO 50001 energy management compliance. What you'll do You will own the end-to-end B2B energy product strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with our Head of Product. Translate complex European power market dynamics into simple, AI-native product workflows.Design and scale our virtual balancing circle products for industrial enterprises.Implement complex BESS (battery energy storage systems) optimization or trading algorithms directly into our core product or integrate them with third-party systems.Embed ISO 50001 energy management compliance standards directly into our core product features.Partner closely with engineering to transition conceptual wireframes into high-impact product releases.Establish the product development lifecycle processes as our first dedicated product hire. Who this is a fit for Experienced in B2B energy product development, specifically building virtual balancing circles or algorithmic energy products (BESS, trading).Deeply knowledgeable about the European power market and its regulatory landscape.Versed in ISO 50001 standards and how industrial enterprises manage energy compliance.Highly comfortable with AI-native workflows and integrating modern AI into SaaS products.Thrived in early-stage startups and comfortable executing in a fast-paced environment.Driven by structured weekly milestones and a high-performance talent culture.
