Senior Full Stack Engineer | London | Hybrid | AI Product Scale-Up | Frontend & Python Salary: £100,000-£115,000 (+/- 10%) + equity Location: London, hybrid working (1 day per week) A fast-growing AI product company is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a frontend lean to join a high-calibre engineering team building a platform that's already making a real impact. This is the sort of environment where engineers are trusted with ownership, encouraged to influence technical direction, and surrounded by people who care deeply about building thoughtful, high-quality products. The product has strong commercial traction, thousands of active users, and ambitious growth plans. They're now at the stage where engineering quality, scalability and product thinking are just as important as shipping quickly. It's still early enough that you'll have a significant influence over architecture, engineering standards and the direction of the product over the coming years. What you'll be doing: Building end-to-end product features with a particular focus on the frontend experience.Creating intuitive, performant user interfaces whilst remaining comfortable contributing across the backend when needed.Designing APIs, backend services and data models to support product development.Improving performance, usability, reliability and maintainability as the platform continues to scale.Working closely with Product and Design to shape features from idea through to production.Contributing to technical direction, engineering standards and product decisions.Mentoring other engineers and promoting good engineering practices across the team. Tech stack: Frontend: Vue.js (ideally), React or another modern JavaScript frameworkBackend: Python, FastAPICloud & Infrastructure: AWS / Azure / GCP, Terraform, GitHub Actions They're very open to engineers who've worked with adjacent frontend frameworks. If you're a strong product engineer with excellent frontend experience and are happy working across the stack, they'd love to speak with you. What they're looking for: Strong commercial experience building modern web applications, with a clear frontend bias.Experience delivering customer-facing product features from concept through to production.Comfortable contributing to backend development in Python or happy picking it up.Engineers who care as much about user experience and product outcomes as they do about writing clean code.Strong communication skills and the confidence to contribute ideas and challenge thinking.Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making pragmatic engineering decisions.Experience working in startup, scale-up or product-led environments is advantageous.
