DevOps Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build, automate, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure and application environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and production support. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and security.Troubleshoot deployment, server, network, and production-related issues.Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams.Manage source-code repositories and branching strategies using Git.Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and deployment speed.Implement backup, disaster-recovery, access-control, and security best practices.Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.Required Skills Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or other automation tools.Strong understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.Experience with Git and source-code management.Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk.Understanding of networking, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, and security practices.Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are preferred.Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.Knowledge of microservices architecture and production support.Experience with database deployment and maintenance is an advantage.Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Willingness to support critical production deployments when required.
