Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to help advance the capabilities, reliability, and usability of our internal engineering platform. In this role, you will work closely with product engineering teams to improve the way software is built, deployed, and operated across the organization. You will contribute to the development of scalable platform services, infrastructure automation, and modern deployment practices that enable teams to deliver high-quality software more efficiently and securely. At Multitude, our product engineering teams operate with a “you build it, you run it” mindset. The Platform Engineering team plays a critical role in supporting that model by providing shared tooling, reusable platform capabilities, and engineering standards that reduce complexity and improve consistency across teams. Your Mission As part of the Platform Engineering team, you will partner with product engineers to strengthen developer experience and improve the underlying platform that supports software delivery. You will help build and evolve reusable solutions, operational guardrails, and standardized engineering workflows that make secure and reliable delivery easier by default. This role is well suited for an engineer who has hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD, and who is looking to continue growing in platform engineering within a collaborative, product-focused environment. What You Will Do Contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of internal platform capabilities used by engineering teamsBuild and maintain infrastructure as code, automation tooling, and deployment workflowsHelp improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes to support reliable, efficient software deliveryPartner with product teams to improve developer experience and reduce operational frictionSupport platform reliability, scalability, and security through practical engineering solutionsContribute to reusable golden paths, standards, and documentation that guide teams toward best practicesWork with modern software engineering practices, including trunk-based development, automated testing, and collaborative delivery models Our Values We value collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared platform ownership. What We Are Looking For Approximately 2+ of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or PuppetPractical experience with cloud platforms, preferably AzureExperience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deployment automationUnderstanding of modern deployment approaches such as immutable infrastructure, zero-downtime deployments, and progressive deliveryFamiliarity with microservices, REST APIs, and API gateway conceptsWorking knowledge of security-minded engineering practices, including IAM, secure CI/CD, and cloud security fundamentalsUnderstanding and experience working in Agile engineering environments with practices such as code reviews, pairing, and iterative deliveryStrong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in improving developer experience Nice to Have Experience building platform tooling, services, or automation using languages such as Go or PythonExposure to security and cloud governance frameworks such as Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, CIS Benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected, or GCP Security FoundationsFamiliarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and trunk-based developmentExperience contributing to shared platform services in fast-paced product organizations Technologies Cloud: Azure, Azure Stack, Azure ADInfrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terragrunt, AnsibleDatabases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Ignite, Elasticsearch, MongoDBMessaging: Kafka, RabbitMQContainers: Kubernetes, AKS, DockerThe starting salary for this position is €4,000 gross per month (B2B contract).
