At Softeta, we are looking for a Python Engineer to become a member of our small, agile development team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our US-based client.The team will be responsible for a greenfield project to build a new payment processing platform from the ground up, moving away from existing systems to create a modern, scalable, and efficient solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain a reliable payment processing solution using Python.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
Technologies - Python, Django, AWS, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on PythonProficiency with web frameworks such as Django, Fast API, or FlaskFamiliarity with database systems, especially PostgreSQL, is preferredFamiliarity with TypeScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework.

Salary:
For employees: 3500 EUR to 5200 EUR monthly (gross) For contractors: 30 EUR to 35 EUR per hour (plus VAT)
