🚀 We're hiring: Senior DevOps Engineer 📍 Hybrid — [set location] | 💼 Contract / Long-term | 🏦 Financial markets infrastructure Rate: 300 - 450 Eur/day NexDev is partnering with a leading capital-markets organisation to build out a senior DevOps and platform engineering capability. This is hands-on, enterprise-scale work: on-premises infrastructure, real transformation programmes, and the freedom to pull work and deliver rather than wait to be told. We're building a small, high-calibre team — so whether you're a Linux/infrastructure specialist, a DevSecOps engineer, or a transformation-focused senior DevOps engineer, we want to hear from you. No single person needs to tick every box. 🔧 What you'll do → Design, support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines across production and non-production environments → Automate operational, deployment and infrastructure processes end to end → Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Unix, Middleware, Database, Network and Security teams → Drive issues to root cause and keep platforms resilient and highly available → Deliver large-scale transformation and migration programmes in a regulated environment ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✅ Core skills we're looking for 8+ years in DevOps, Platform, Systems or Infrastructure EngineeringExpert-level Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and strong Unix/Linux troubleshootingOn-premises infrastructure, server lifecycle, patching and upgradesStrong Bash and Python scripting and automationSignificant experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible and GitSolid analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-engagement skillsProven ability to work autonomously in large enterprise environments━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⭐ Highly desirable (any of these make you stand out) DevSecOps: HashiCorp Vault, secrets & certificate management, PAM/IDAM, vulnerability managementInfrastructure as Code and platform provisioningArtifact management: Artifactory, NexusNetworking & security fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, TLS/SSLRelational databases — Oracle administration/support a real plusMonitoring & observability: DataDog, logging and alerting platformsTransformation experience: Jenkins → GitLab, Nexus → Artifactory, Vault migration, RHEL/Linux migration, data-centre or platform-modernisation programmes Interested, or know someone who fits?
