About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Building Inspector to join a high-performing inspections team. Working closely with the Division Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring construction quality, structural compliance, and workmanship standards across a variety of residential building projects. This position offers autonomy, variety and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct a variety of building inspections including Pre-purchase inspections, PCI inspections and various structural inspections during other stages of constructionInspect roof frames, brickwork, timber wall frames and trussesInspect concrete slabs including suspended and ground slabs prior to poursAssess waterproofing works and roof sheeting installationsComplete dilapidation inspectionsPrepare clear, detailed inspection reports and recommendationsLiaise with builders, contractors, and internal stakeholders Skills & Experience Previous experience in building inspection or construction is essentialRegistered Builder qualification highly regardedStrong understanding of NCC requirements and Australian StandardsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approachAbility to work autonomously and manage workload effectivelyStrong team collaboration and mentoring capabilitiesCurrent Australian Driver’s Licence required What’s on Offer A permanent role with a national, industry-leading companySupportive and collaborative team cultureEmployee wellbeing initiatives and assistance programsCareer progression and mentorship from experienced industry peersCompany vehicle and fuel card providedPPE supplied Please note this is a full-time role and visa sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLE for this role.
