About the Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer who believes in our mission to help people improve their communication skills. You will build scalable backend services with a customer focus to power delightful user experiences. You will architect right-sized solutions that are easy to maintain, secure, and provide a platform for the future. You will deliver high-quality work at a rapid pace while efficiently collaborating with product management and other engineers. Responsibilities 2+ years of professional development experience, shipping production code.Ability to write professional-quality code in a commonly used backend language (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.).Experience building at scale with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Demonstrates humility, creativity, and a team-first attitude with a love for learning.
