Your new company Our client is a large and well established Queensland organisation undertaking a significant transformation of its ServiceNow environment. As part of a full platform replatforming initiative, an opportunity has become available for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join the team and support both the existing platform and the wider transformation program. This is a 6 month initial contract opportunity with the possibility of extension, based onsite at Mt Gravatt. During the initial stages of the engagement, a strong onsite presence will be required to support onboarding and integration with the team. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered once established within the role. Your new role As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a hands-on role supporting and enhancing the existing ServiceNow platform while contributing to a major replatforming initiative alongside an external implementation partner. Working within an internal technology team, your responsibilities will include: Developing, configuring and enhancing the ServiceNow platformSupporting day-to-day platform operations and technical improvementsDesigning and implementing workflows, automations and service management solutionsDeveloping business rules, client scripts, UI policies and platform integrationsSupporting platform upgrades, change requests and enhancement initiativesWorking closely with internal stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure successful outcomesProviding technical expertise, troubleshooting and best-practice guidance across the platformContributing to a governance, compliance and process-driven delivery environmentWhat you'll need to succeed Strong commercial experience as a ServiceNow Developer, Engineer or AdministratorHands on experience developing and supporting ServiceNow platforms in complex environmentsExperience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, business rules, client scripts and platform configurationStrong JavaScript development skillsExperience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and applicationsAbility to work within structured governance and compliance frameworksExperience collaborating with internal teams, vendors and delivery partnersStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to hit the ground running and contribute from day oneHighly regarded Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow implementation or replatforming projectsExposure to Azure cloud environments and integration technologiesExperience working within education, government or other highly regulated environmentsITSM, ITOM or ServiceNow certificationWhat you'll get in return Opportunity to contribute to a major ServiceNow transformation programContract role with potential for extensionCollaborative internal team environmentExposure to large-scale platform modernisation initiativesWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
