Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve storage management solutions for enterprise storage platforms. In this role, you'll work on software that integrates deeply with Linux, Kubernetes, and modern storage technologies, solving complex systems challenges across the kernel, storage stack, orchestration, and networking while contributing to reliable, production-ready infrastructure. Required for this role Deep hands-on expertise in at least two of these core areas: Linux, Kubernetes, or Storage.Strong systems programming experience using C or Go.Experience working with the Linux storage stack, including the block layer, filesystems, kernel modules, kernel debugging, and kernel subsystems related to I/O.Experience building or maintaining Kubernetes internals, including CSI drivers, custom Kubernetes distributions, or low-level components such as etcd, kubelet, CRI, CNI, CSI, controllers, operators, and API machinery.Practical knowledge of storage protocols, Linux storage drivers, or file storage technologies such as Samba, NFS, ZFS, or OpenLustre.Experience with distributed storage systems such as BeeGFS, SeaweedFS, Ceph, or similar technologies, and familiarity with SCST, LIO, and the Linux SCSI subsystem.Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across kernel, storage, networking, and Kubernetes environments, identifying root causes across multiple system layers.Strong understanding of Linux I/O performance, memory management, scheduling, and their impact on storage behavior.Collaborative mindset with strong planning, execution, and communication skills. Your responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain storage services integrated with Kubernetes, including CSI drivers, storage orchestration, provisioning, and data-path components.Build and enhance software within the Linux storage stack, working with block devices, filesystems, and storage targets exposed to client systems.Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning the Linux kernel, storage services, drivers, networking, and Kubernetes clusters.Package, harden, test, and optimize storage components for production environments, including performance analysis and failure-mode testing.Contribute to architectural decisions involving the integration of storage, compute, and networking components.Improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of storage management software.Collaborate with engineers to deliver robust, production-ready infrastructure components built on open-source technologies.Support continuous improvements in system performance, stability, and operational resilience.
