PAIR Finance is a product company developing a multi-national debt collection platform using Ruby on Rails and running on AWS.
Our Data and Behavioral Science teams utilize purpose-built Python tools to analyze and enrich our data.
We have experienced significant growth, and we're looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to help us reach the next level.
Your Responsibilities:
manage and improve existing infrastructure, and participate in the development of infrastructure for new application components and internal servicestroubleshoot reliability and performance issuesset up, maintain, and improve deployment procedures, server environments, and testing infrastructureimprove infrastructure automation (Terraform/OpenTofu)take ownership of specific components and work to improve themensure that data storage infrastructure and processing follow GDPR guidelines and legal requirementsdrive innovation from an IT perspective and support further business developmentstay on top of current tech industry trends
What we're looking for:
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant work experience within the field of DevOps; including previous Linux administration, web development, or software engineering experiencehands-on knowledge of AWS services (IAM, Landing Zone, RDS, S3, ELB, ECS, Lambda)experience running modern applications within Docker containers and relevant infrastructure (ECS/Kubernetes)ability to develop solid infrastructure, supporting CI/CD and production systems and containerized workloadsexcellent troubleshooting skills in cloud environmentssolid communication skills (English proficiency required) high degree of independence willingness to learn and further develop your skills
Additional skills that will set you apart:
hands-on experience developing Jenkins pipelinesknowledge of and experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments experience with DNS and email services experience managing and optimizing databases (Postgres) hands-on experience working with ELK monitoring stack German language skills

For this mid-level to senior role, our salary band is €56,500 - €87,000 gross per year (based on a 40-hour work week).
