About The Role
Lead and execute project engineering activities across the full project lifecycle -from concept through engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover - ensuring delivery in line with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and Value Assurance Process (VAP) requirements.
The role requires strong coordination with engineering disciplines, Central Engineering, contractors, licensors, vendors and operations teams to ensure technical compliance, effective project execution, and timely delivery of projects.
Key Accountabilities
Project Engineering & Execution
Lead and support execution of projects across FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phasesDevelop and review Statements of Requirement (SOR) and project execution strategiesSupport preparation of tender documents and evaluation of consultants, PMC, and EPC contractorsReview contractor engineering deliverables, construction methodologies, and execution plansMonitor project progress and identify bottlenecks with recommended corrective actionsLead value engineering, constructability reviews, and technical workshops
Stakeholder & Interface Management
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, licensors, contractors, vendors, and third partiesParticipate in project meetings, design reviews, and progress tracking sessionsEnsure alignment across multidisciplinary stakeholders for efficient project execution
Project Control, Contracts & Cost
Monitor contractor performance, costs, and invoices in coordination with cost control functionsEvaluate contractor claims and support negotiations and contract close-outTrack project variations, risks, and trends impacting cost and schedule
Risk, Quality & Compliance
Conduct risk analysis, Project HSE Reviews (PHSER), and ATR reviews in line with ADNOC proceduresEnsure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality expectationsReview site safety audit plans and ensure proper implementation at project level
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain project documentation, records, close-out reports, and technical deliverablesProvide inputs to progress reporting for management review
Construction, Commissioning & Handover
Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with contractors and Operations teamsReview commissioning procedures, readiness plans, and documentationMonitor punch list closure and ensure project completion prior to PAC issuanceFacilitate handover of facilities and support start-up and operational readiness

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor Degree in EngineeringStrong expertise in project engineering across FEED, EPC, and commissioning phasesIn-depth knowledge of oil & gas facilities and engineering systemsExperience in contractor coordination and project executionStrong capability in project monitoring (schedule, cost, quality)Strong technical, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
