Head of Web Development | Cyprus, Larnaca | Hybrid
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Web Development to lead the technology strategy, architecture, and delivery of global, high-traffic websites.
In this role, you will lead web development teams, drive scalable website solutions, and collaborate with Marketing, IT, Product, UX/UI, and Compliance teams to create fast, secure, and conversion-focused digital experiences.
Location: Larnaca, CyprusHybrid: 2 days/week WFH.
The first 2 months, minimum, will be fully on-site.Team Management: The Head will be responsible for around 35-40 developers (backend & frontend), plus a small team of Manual QA Testers (4-5 people).Tech Stack: React and Next.js (frontend); Python and Django (backend).
For the backend, experience with PHP & Laravel is also fine.

Requirements:
10+ years of web development experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teamsStrong expertise in React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, HTML, and CSSExperience building and scaling high-traffic websitesStrong understanding of APIs, databases, performance, SEO, and securityExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience in fintech, trading, regulated industries, or global digital platforms is a plus.
