Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. You will focus on improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, working closely with engineering and operations to ensure smooth, stable, and efficient platform operations. You will also help improve the developer experience by automating workflows and building custom tools. Responsibilities Monitor and operate production systems to ensure high availability and reliabilityImprove observability through better metrics, logging, tracing, and alertingAutomate manual and repetitive operations tasks to improve efficiencyCollaborate with engineering teams to design resilient, scalable systemsImprove developer experience by building custom tools and automating infrastructureParticipate in on-call rotations and handle incident responseConduct post-incident reviews and drive system improvementsBenchmark, test, and optimize system performance and scalabilityEnhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure processesRequirements Strong experience with AWS (or other major cloud providers such as GCP or Azure)Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestrationSolid Linux systems knowledgeProgramming skills in Golang, Python, Bash, or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD and automation tools: ArgoCD, Crossplane, GitHub Actions, Terraform, AnsibleStrong understanding of cloud security best practices and tools such as Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or HashiCorp ConsulExperience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, Datadog)Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, and securityNice to Have Background in software engineeringStrong focus on improving developer experience and setting best practicesCross-team collaboration and communication skillsWorking with Manatal This role is based at our Bangkok office in the heart of the city centerAs a team of diverse cultures and nationalities, English language proficiency is requiredWe enjoy collaborating in person and the team is working on-site Why you'll enjoy working with Manatal Well-funded start-up backed by Surge & SequoiaBe part of one of the fastest-growing B2B SaaS start-ups in the regionYou will be collaborating with talented individuals in the industryJoin a lively and highly international teamIndulge in a challenging and innovative working cultureAttractive medical healthcare planPersonal development allowance2 weeks of work from anywhere per yearRegular fun team-building activitiesCompany tripOur Tech Stack Our engineering team leverages a variety of modern technologies.
