Senior Backend Developer

We’re looking for an experienced developer who will play a key role in building high-quality, scalable applications. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing robust, testable code and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards. Your mission at Krones.digital Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.Drive the entire lifecycle of our solutions – from design and implementation to integration and operation.Implement interfaces and microservices to process data from diverse sources and enable seamless information exchange.Ensure the scalability and performance of our backend systems to support a growing user base.Guarantee smooth integration and communication with platform and cloud components.Apply security best practices to protect data integrity and user privacy.Collaborate with international development teams and provide support when needed.Act as a role model for junior team members by taking ownership of your work while keeping the team’s success in focus. What you bring to Krones.digital At least 5 years of experience in an advanced programming language (e.g., C#, C++), with strong expertise in modern development tools and frameworks.Python experience is highly valued but not mandatory – we offer internal training, but willingness to work with Python is essential.A passion for clean code, architecture, and writing tests as much as production code.Proven experience (2+ years) in developing, deploying, and managing containers with Docker, plus familiarity with Kubernetes and a strong desire to master it.Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, JFrog, Salt, Chef).Knowledge of event-driven architecture and cloud-native environments.Additional experience with AWS cloud platform, React, and SQL/NoSQL databases is a plus.Ideally, experience in digital product development and agile methodologies.
