Software Engineer

Forward Deployed Engineer/AI Engineer | London | Global Commodities Trading I'm working with a leading global commodities trading firm that is investing heavily in AI, engineering and digital transformation. They're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between technology and the business, taking innovative ideas from prototype through to production. This is a hands on role where you'll work directly with front office users, building production grade applications, AI powered workflows and bespoke integrations that solve real business problems. You'll need experience with: Python and modern full stack development (React and Node.js)AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CDAPIs, data pipelines and PostgreSQLAI technologies including LLMs, RAG and agentic workflowsTaking applications from proof of concept through to productionWorking closely with business stakeholders in complex enterprise environments This is an opportunity to join a highly visible team where you'll have genuine ownership, influence product direction and deliver technology that has a direct impact on the business.
