Description

The successful candidate will collaborate with technology teams, trading desks, and external vendors (Databricks and Charles River) to design, integrate, and optimise platforms and extract required data. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of various trading systems.Develop and maintain applications and services using Python and .Net along with experience in DatabricksWrite and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to ensure high-performance data access and reporting.Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and resilience.Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in a regulated environment. Key Requirements Proven experience as a Software Engineer / Developer within investment management / Asset ManagementStrong programming skills in Python and .Net along with experience in Databricks.Experience with OMS platforms, ideally Charles RiverExperience with the Alpha Data Platform (ADP) highly advantageousHands-on experience with API development, integration, and managementAdvanced knowledge of SQL databasesFamiliarity with trading workflows, market data, and order/execution management systems is highly desirableStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and be proactive in solving engineering challenges.
