Description
Location: Preferable London/anywhere in UK (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, and SQL Server.
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend services, APIs, and database solutions.
You will work closely with architects, frontend teams, and QA to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
Build and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, queries, and functions in SQL Server.
Develop robust and scalable RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through best coding practices.
Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to support end-to-end feature delivery.
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system design decisions.
Optimize application performance, including query tuning and API responsiveness.
Integrate third-party services and external systems as required.
Maintain technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Required Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with C#/.NET.
Strong experience in .NET Core, Web API, and microservices.
Expertise in SQL Server, database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORMs.
Familiarity with Azure, Docker, or containerized deployments.
Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
Understanding of cloud-native architectures
