Software Engineer Backend

Responsibilities This role requires participation in an on-call rotation, where you would be on call 24/7 for one week approximately every 8–9 weeks. Design, implement, and operate large-scale cloud services supporting real-time analytics workloads.Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable solutions to complex technical challenges.Architect and enhance backend systems for high availability, reliability, and performance.Optimize services for large-scale data ingestion and processing.Ensure robust testing and validation strategies for production-ready systems.Identify, use and evangelize appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a disciplined manner Embody our culture and values Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Job Requirements: Other & Additional Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred/Additional Qualifications Experience in large scale cloud backend development. Proven ability to design, implement, and test scalable systems. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Experience working with real-time analytics or telemetry systems. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data pipelines.
