Senior Frontend Developer

You'll own the web frontend of our streaming platform, working closely with backend, product, and design to ship features that hold up under real-world network conditions and real-world scale. What You'll Do Build and maintain high-performance web applications for our streaming productWork hands-on with video players and streaming protocols - HLS, DASH, and the fun that comes with themIntegrate DRM (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady), ad frameworks (VAST/VMAP, SSAI/CSAI), and analytics/QoE toolingOptimize playback performance, startup time, and rebuffering across a range of browsers and bandwidth conditionsPartner with backend teams on API design and content deliveryMentor mid-level engineers and set frontend standards for the team What You Bring 5+ years building production web frontends with modern JavaScript/TypeScriptStrong command of a modern framework (React, Vue, or similar)Real OTT/streaming experience - you've shipped a streaming product and lived with it in productionHands-on experience with video playback: HLS/DASH, adaptive bitrate streaming, video.js/Shaka/hls.js or equivalentWorking knowledge of DRM, ad insertion, and streaming QoE metricsA performance-first mindset - you care about load times, memory, and cross-browser behavior Nice to Have Experience with SSAI and server-side ad workflowsFamiliarity with CDN behavior and content delivery at scaleExposure to live streaming (not just VOD)
