The role We’re growing our DevOps capability and are looking for an Intermediate DevOps Engineer to support the ongoing evolution of Diverge - our cloud-native energy data platform. In this role, you’ll contribute to improving how we build, test, integrate, and deploy software. You’ll work across squads to enhance CI/CD pipelines, support developers, and help streamline the software development lifecycle through automation and tooling. You’ll play a key part in strengthening pipeline performance, improving feedback loops, and ensuring our platform remains reliable, scalable, and secure as it evolves. What You’ll Be Doing Contribute to the design and improvement of CI/CD pipelines to enhance build, test, and deployment processesSupport squads by troubleshooting pipeline and build issues, helping unblock deliveryAssist with integrating and automating testing across the platform to strengthen release quality and confidenceContribute to improving release processes and ensuring reliable code integration, testing, and deploymentWork with teams to break down work, estimate effort, and support iterative delivery in an Agile environmentSupport monitoring, performance, and security requirements across development teamsIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and DevOps practicesShare knowledge and support more junior engineers, contributing to a culture of learning and collaboration Who are we looking for? DevOps & CI/CD: Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience using relevant toolsCloud & AWS: Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM, with an understanding of serverless architecture and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)Agile delivery: Comfortable working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to task breakdown, estimation, and iterative deliveryTesting & automation: Experience with TDD/BDD and automated testing across build and deployment pipelinesCollaboration & mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently while collaborating with others, and a proactive approach to continuous improvementMentoring & communication: Ability to share knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and support team capability uplift Why Vector We know great energy starts with great people.
