Senior React Native Developer

Contract Type: Consultancy Agreement Contract Duration: 6 Months Level: Senior Experience: 5+ Years Location: Amman Role Overview We are seeking a Senior React Native Developer to lead hands-on mobile application development for both iOS and Android. You will work closely with stakeholders to define and document software requirements, deliver high-quality mobile applications, and collaborate across Product, Design, Development, and QA teams to bring new features to life. Key Responsibilities Lead hands-on React Native application development for both iOS and Android platforms.Work with stakeholders to understand and document software requirements, ensuring high-quality delivery of iOS and Android applications.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Development, and QA teams in a cross-functional environment.Deliver mobile applications independently as a strong individual contributor.Partner with product development to understand and support the mobile application roadmap.Implement new features in close collaboration with product managers, and Web, Backend, UI/UX, and mobile engineers.Share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design and code reviews.Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into pragmatic, effective technical solutions.Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.Plan for major iOS and Android platform updates that may impact applications, coordinating required changes with the Engineering Manager and product team. Required Skills Skilled in designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying software within the React Native framework using JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience developing UI components and implementing them according to established React Native / JavaScript workflows and best practices.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API.Familiarity with native module bridging and integrating native iOS/Android SDKs when required.Ability to write clean, well-documented code.Experience working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notification implementation.Strong knowledge of mobile app UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.Experience implementing user authentication flows (e.g., OAuth).Experience with mobile attribution and analytics platforms.Experience working with Git in a CI/CD environment.Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.Strong knowledge of continuous integration best practices.Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and support fellow developers, as well as communicate complex ideas effectively.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Qualifications & Certificates Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Strong command of the English language.
