Mobile Frontend Developer

Our client is a leading investment bank renowned for driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives across a complex, highly regulated enterprise environment. As part of a multi-year innovation and digitalisation journey, they are continuing to expand their client-facing digital capabilities to support the next generation of international operations. We are seeking a self-driven, high-performing Frontend Developer (Mobile) to join their Mobile Engineering team. Operating at the intersection of user experience, mobile technology, and enterprise architecture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and enhancing native mobile features, SDK integrations, and platform capabilities for mission-critical applications Key responsibilities: Mobile Engineering & Feature Delivery: Build, maintain, and enhance high-performance native mobile features across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring smooth UI performance, responsive layouts, and robust local execution.SDK Integration & App Infrastructure: Design, integrate, and maintain core mobile SDKs, internal libraries, and third-party modules. Manage package dependencies, build tools, and modern modular architecture patterns.Packaging & Release Ecosystem: Oversee the iOS packaging, signing, and deployment workflows using Xcode and Swift Package Manager (SPM). Partner with DevOps to automate build, testing, and distribution pipelines.Hybrid & Cross-Platform Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hybrid mobile application environments, bridging native device capabilities with modern hybrid web view frameworks.Performance Optimization & Governance: Continuously optimize memory management, startup times, and background execution. Ensure all mobile code adheres to enterprise security, data encryption, and regulatory compliance standards. Qualification and Education: Min 4 years’ experience in mobile application development (iOS and Android).Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android) and Swift Package Manager (SPM), alongside strong knowledge of the iOS packaging and release lifecycle.Direct exposure or hands-on experience with Capacitor or React Native is a strong plus for supporting hybrid app platforms.Proven experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, JSON parsing, and mobile data storage (CoreData, Room, SQLite).Exposure within Financial Services, Trading Platforms, or Fintech environments is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in global Agile/Scrum technology teams.
